Heritage

A little history.

Tri Trang lies just beyond the end of the Patong road, sheltered by the headland that closes the bay. It stayed a coconut grove and fishing anchorage long after Patong filled up, and even now it is a single stretch of sand with a handful of loungers and a small resort behind the trees. The rocky shelves at either end hold soft coral and reef fish, which is why the longtail skippers bring snorkellers here when the sea outside is choppy.
