Heritage
A little history.
Kamala was a Muslim fishing village with boats pulled up on the sand long before Phuket's west coast became famous, and the rebuilt village still keeps a memorial garden at the beachfront. The cliff road south towards Kalim and Patong filled with villas and sunset restaurants in the 2000s, and remains the island's best-known evening drive.
