Heritage
A little history.
Samui's north coast was coconut plantation and fishing village long after the south had turned to tourism. Bang Po and Mae Nam kept their temples, morning markets and shorefront homes, and the quieter water on this side of the island — sheltered, shallow and calm for much of the year — is still what draws people back.
