Heritage
A little history.
Declared a national marine park in 1980, the Ang Thong archipelago was long used only by fishermen and sea-gypsy crews sheltering between its karst walls. Its hidden emerald lake on Koh Mae Ko and the viewpoint above Wua Talab made it famous, and boats still leave Samui most mornings for snorkelling, kayaking and the climb to the lookout.
