Heritage
A little history.
Tuscany is the cradle of the Renaissance. In Florence, Da Vinci, Michelangelo and their contemporaries created their masterworks, and Byron once walked the road to Pisa, penning stanzas under a Tuscan sun.
The borgo itself has evolved since the late Middle Ages — first a castle, then a Renaissance villa for Tuscan aristocracy. In 2003 it was meticulously restored by Palummo & Pierotti Architects under the guidance of the Italian Fine Arts Commission.
