Heritage
A little history.
Roman Tolosa, then capital of the Visigothic kingdom, Toulouse made its fortune from pastel — the blue dye that funded its Renaissance mansions — and from the Canal du Midi, completed in 1681 and now a UNESCO site. In the 20th century it became France's aerospace capital, from Saint-Exupéry's mail flights to Concorde and Airbus.
