Heritage
A little history.
Named 'la Côte d'Azur' by the poet Stéphen Liégeard in 1887. Cannes was a fishing village until Lord Brougham was stranded there in 1834 and built a villa; the Film Festival arrived in 1946, and Saint-Tropez was still quiet until Bardot filmed there in 1956.
